Thank you to Chevron. This month Chevron donated $4,500 to the work being done to address and prevent suicide in our region.

Cary Baird, Community Engagement Representative with Chevron, says “Chevron has several focus areas for community improvement, and one is health. With higher than average suicide rates on the Western Slope and a time of year when there is an increased occurrence of depression, we felt like this was the perfect time to recognize and support the very important work that the Suicide Prevention Foundation does for our community.”

Thanks again for the generous gift.

2014 Colorado Gives Day Recap - Incredible generosity

What an incredible day of giving across the state! 21 Mesa County non-profits joined promotional efforts to bring awareness to the official state-wide day of giving. As a collaborative we raised over... $121,200!

WCSPF bested our goal of $1000 by over $400. It was a great first foray into CO Gives day participation and we plan to build on our successes next year.

Below are some of our pictures from the CO Gives week.

We're proud recipients of United Way of Mesa County funding!   Thank you!
